Anti Bandit Doors

Purpose made bullet resistant, anti bandit doors are manufactured with 100mm x 50mm x 3mm mild steel frame. They are supplied with a 5 pin CISA dead lock, continuous roton type hinge, aluminum slam bar and D-style pull handles.

Frame

The door is supplied with a steel frame. The frame is fabricates from 100 x 50 x 3 mm rectangular tubing. Rebates are 32 x 20 mm rectangular tubing. These are attached to the frame by means of counter sunk cap screws. A pressed steel frame suitable for casing in during building operations can be supplied on request.

Door

The door can be supplied in a variety of wood veneer finishes. The standard being sapele or white oak. Where the door is going to be exposed to the elements, a Masonite finish is recommended. The door is constructed out of a lamination of high density chip board, and bullet resistant steel. The steel varies according to the ballistic rating of the door. The steel is designed to give protection to the lock on the attack face.

Locking

Standard locking is a cylinder mortice dead lock with a 5 pin tumbler key system. High security cylinders such as the CISA SP are available as optional extras.
Electronic locking can be provided by making use of the CISA strike lock or magnetic locks with battery back up.

Hinges

ROTON continuous hinges are fitted as standard equipment.

View Panel

A bullet resistant view panel is available as an optional extra.
Glass specifications are relative to the ballistic rating of the door.

Ballistic Testing

At Mutual, we strive to improve our products all the time. It is for that reason that we have our Anti Bandit Doors tested by independent contractors on an annual basis. Testing is done according to G1, 2, and 3 performance needs.
